Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Reel4Life app and website. By using them you agree to these terms. Reel4Life is operated by [Operator legal name to be confirmed] ("we", "us").

What Reel4Life does

Organisers invite people to share memories of someone. We turn those memories into a film and a photo book. Making and previewing is free. Unlocking the full-quality film and the book for an event is a single in-app purchase (currently A$14.99 in Australia; the store shows the price in your currency). Printed books are optional and priced at checkout.

Your content

• You keep ownership of everything you share. You give us permission to store it, process it (including with AI tools that describe and arrange it) and include it in the film and book, according to the choices you make when you share it, and to let the organiser and people they share the finished film and book with see it.
• Only share things you have the right to share. That includes photos taken by others, and any music you add yourself: only use music you're entitled to use, for the private film.
• Please be kind. Don't share anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or that invades someone's privacy. We may remove content and block people who break these rules. You can report content or people in the app.

Organisers

• Only invite people you believe are happy to hear from you about the event. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
• You're responsible for how you share the finished film and book.

Purchases

• The unlock is bought through the App Store or Google Play and is subject to their terms, including their refund processes. It applies to one event and doesn't renew. No account is needed to buy it.
• Printed books are charged by Stripe and made to order. Our guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded: if a book arrives damaged or faulty, tell us within 30 days and we'll reprint or refund it.

AI and the film

The choice and order of moments is suggested by AI and can be changed by the organiser. We design it never to invent facts or words: quotes are taken from what contributors wrote or said. Please review the film and book before sharing them, especially for important occasions.

Availability

We work hard to keep Reel4Life running and your content safe, but we can't promise the service will always be uninterrupted. Please download the finished film and book once they're ready.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Ending

You can stop using Reel4Life and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia. Questions: support@reel4life.com.
